Runnig Odd Daisy Wheels, Issue?

Good evening all, hope your enjoying your weekend and sun if your lucky enough to get some.

  1. My model of MX-5 is: 89 NA
  2. I’m based near: Preston
  3. I’m looking for technical help on: Standard Mazda Daisy Wheels

Evening all, just picked up some stadard 14" Dasies over the weekend for my 89NA project as I dont like the Mazda NB 15"s it came on. However I’ve noticed that three are TOPY and one is ENKEI, is this going to be an issue? I know the castings are the same but is there a measureable weight diffrence I should be worrying about?

On a side note, cleaning tips for project owners. Got the chance to use that cleaning thing on the side of the sink today and the auto parts washer in the kitchen, really reduced the drying time for a few other second hand bits I picked up over the weekend.

Covered in mud they were but 5 minuets in the dish washer and 15 on the rack, sorted. Wife has the hump today for some reason, so was nice to get out the house afterwards to get the wheels cleaned, thats when I noticed. :grinning:

Haha. Dishwashers are brilliant for cleaning auto parts, as long as you don’t get found out…

Hi R, You can check the weights if you have some bathroom scales. Just hold each one in turn, step on and note the weight. I use this method to weigh parcels for get postage costs.

If you havent immediately noticed the weight difference when you pick them up, your car will be just as oblivious to any difference too. If there is a difference then put that one on the back
