Hi everyone, I’m a new member as I’ve recently bought a MX-5 mk3 for my daughter. It’s a project and luckily after the mechanic check it out only had 2 major issues.

  1. Engine was Sick… Rattle and smoke…
  2. Rusty Inner Cills towards the rear Wheel arches.

I’ve got the engine replaced, so I’m looking to get the welding done this weekend… I’ve looked a bit online and can see video of a drain hole that’s needed.

Can anyone send me an image of a good example of a similar view as the attached

Please strip back the underseal and fully check that area as I cried for 2 days with what I found

Thanks for your response, after speaking with my body repair guy, he’s see these issues before and is aware of the drain holes
