Another thumbs up for Sam Goodwin in Nuneaton. I took my Mk2 there this morning after experiencing a mysterious and sporadic “hesitation”, especially when cold. Armed with nothing more than a paper clip and a LED, they correctly diagnosed an intermittent fault from the throttle position sensor and even better, had one on a spare throttle body laying on a shelf at the back of the workshop. The car runs like a dream now; it clearly had been dodgy for some time and I hadn’t noticed the performance going off. Clearly, there’s no substitute for experts like Steve and Sam who know what they are doing and have so much experience with MX5s. Thanks guys - one happy bunny here
