Hi, anyone installed an aftermarket sat nav, and if so where did you position the sat nav aerial ? Under the dash, if so stuck to what ? Or did you get a DAB beesting aerial with a sat nav lead ?
Mine is stuck to the bottom left of the windscreen where the tax disc used to be.
I had a Pumpkin Android head unit in my NC1. I fitted the GPS antenna, which was a meaty chunk of plastic with a magnet on the bottom, in front of the gear lever under the centre console. The magnet stuck it down to the transmission tunnel.
I fully expected to have to move it upwards somewhere but it worked perfectly, excepting driving in heavily tree-lined areas or in tunnels (pretty obviously).
