I have just bought a new 24 plate MX5 Nd, and I was wondering does the sat nav have real time traffic updates as I cannot see any traffic jams as I would with google maps, or does it come as a separate subscription?
The option is there, but also the text says it uses a subscription-based service. I must admit I haven’t look very thoroughly into it to say whether the subscription comes with the car when bought new.
Ahh, that might explain lack of live info and alternative routing. Does ND infotainment not use TMC broadcast traffic info?
Thanks, I have that set. The text which is displayed is different, it implies that I have a subscription. I will give the Mazda dealer a ring and see why it is not working as I expect it to
