The final format for the Tours at our Spring Rally
have been settled. The Flyer for this Tour is available in the Download Area of the
Website [ see links at the top of this page]. I have tried to give as many different options with the 5 x
Tours to enable Members to plan their weekend according to their journey time/
accommodation location and whether you are coming to the Hoppers Supper on the
Saturday evening.

TOUR B
Leeds Castle
& Maidstone.
Please note :
For
logistical reasons, all runs on 21 May at the Spring Rally weekend except
Tour A, are self Navigated. Further outline route information and a map
are shown below, which we hope will provide you with sufficient information to
plan your day out.
Description of this Tour.
This Tour
is for those Members or a Group of Members who would like to plan their own day
starting with a visit to Leeds Castle, with the option of visiting National Trust
Scotney Castle in the afternoon or a visit to Maidstone
for some retail therapy!
We have
therefore not provided detailed
route instructions for this Tour and Members can organise their own day, using
the information in this Flyer and their Sat Nav or Google Maps to plan a self
navigated route.
Suggested Itinerary.
1030hrs - Arrive @ Leeds Castle.
Set in 500 acres of beautiful Parkland with
time to explore the Castle & Grounds.
Have lunch in the
licensed Restaurant or take a picnic. Entrance
fee £17.50 [£15 for Seniors] – 2010 prices.

1400hrs - Depart Leeds
Castle and either drive to Maidstone for
a couple of hours shopping or perhaps visit 2 x castles in one day and visit Scotney Castle.

Don’t
forget to allow time to return to your chosen overnight accommodation and the
Coach Pick up times to return to the Hop Farm in time for the Rally Dinner,
which starts at 1830hrs at the Dray Ballroom, in the Hop Farm complex.
