 Yes unfortunately due to the massive response we feel we can no longer provide safe escorted runs for any  more people,

by all means you can download the routes and do the runs yourself, it is just the terrain and small minor roads and villages,

 it is not safe or practical to have even larger convoys to control and keep together safely.

many thanks for your support and understanding in this decision, we would love to show 500 people our fantastic scenery,

 but it is just not possible with our limited resources.

That is a shame - I did not realise you had to book in advance.  I  had been trying to find out how it was arranged.as I fancied doing the morning run.  As a new member who has never been to a club event previously I did not know the score.  My local rep sent me this link to help me find out more.

I have downloaded the route for a small number of NW members. Is there a plan of the routes available on a map in case we lose our way?

The routes are downloadable here.

Even though the Escorted runs are no longer available I wouldn’t think there is a problem downloading the route and doing the run at your own convienence.

We were also late getting our names down on the list but we are going to do the runs on our own. If you would like to tag along with us get in contact. We are planning to start about 10am (ish), we are staying at The Sheffield Park Hotel for the weekend.

Hi Sheena & Vince,

Do you want to meet us at the Sheffield Park, we are going there on Friday night. I reckon the hotel is about 13 miles from the run start point, I think if we get to the start point after 10am the main run groups should be cleared. Depends on when you aim to arrive. As we are from Norfolk we have no idea how far you are coming from Manchester. But we are fairly flexible as to when we get going. Our mobile is 07780674417, we will be in a Sport Red S25NES.
