Anyone got a non resonated exhaust on an nd is it too loud for daily use ?
I had a cobra non resonated quad exhaust on my rf, I loved it, my neighbours at 5.30am did not.
Got it swapped to the resonated one, I will refit the non resonated after I move. It sounded awesome with the roof down.

How was it on motorways etc ?
It wasn’t too bad tbh and not that much louder than the resonated one.
It really comes into its own with the roof down.
Just when starting from cold you’ll want to do the start the car in reverse gear trick to stop it being stupidly loud.

I had a cobalt one on my ND and it sounded great roof down. Roof up it was intolerable. I’d consider a resinated one next time but I’m just sticking with stock now!
Cobalt are famed for being a bit ASBO. A work mate had one on a fiesta and it was horrific. You couldn’t talk to each other on the motorway. It wasn’t resonated. He swapped it for a blue flame system that was much better. I have to admit the quad pipes look great on the ND tho.

Nothing wrong with the COBALT one at all.

I had a Cobalt on my ND that was still unbearable but nothing like a cobra.
Agree some of the Cobra back boxes are too loud for me but I fitted a used Cobra road sport box to my otherwise standard NC1 and it’s great. Nice sound with the roof off but not OTT and no resonance inside with the roof up. Only thing is the size of the tailpipes are a bit too boy-racer for me.
