Hi guys
My wife bought a new handbag with classy-looking metal trim pieces on it, which, sadly were square in section with pretty hard and sharp edges.
The result has been some rather noticeable and ugly gouges and scratches in my glovebox lid in an otherwise pristine interior. I can’t blame her - even the slightest inadvertent contact with it seems to leave a mark and there isnt exactly a whole lot of space for her to get something from her bag mid-journey. I guess I should have bought her that Mulberry she wanted after all!
She has now, very thoughtfully, moved on to a new bag so I’m looking to repair the damage, but due to the soft plastic used in these all the ones on ebay (even a brand new one I saw) seem to be scratched to hell in storage. I wondered if anyone out there still had a nice one going…or is about to break a Mk2 that’s had an easy life where the glovebox is still on the car so hasnt been scratched in dismantling/ storing yet?
Mine is a late model NBFL / Mk2.5, but I believe any black Mk2 one will fit.
Long shot, I know, but I figure it’s always worth asking!
