Hi there, as NC riders know the acces to the seat belt between transmission tunnel and seat is not the easiest…does anyone here uses these (or other) extenders? Are they “safe”? It seems to be a kind of universal fit which worries me a bit…some US based companys have Mazda specific extenders…is there a difference in belt buckles between brands or is this a commercial thing?
I bought a couple, never felt right, always seemed a sloppy fit.
Saw them yesterday in a box of bits in the garage…
I bought a couple also, for easier access to seat belts in my NBFL. They were not compatible with the Mazda belt buckles in the car. Fitted ok in my wifes 2016 CX3. Passed on to son to make easier fitting for child seat.

, so there are various types of buckles …even between the same brand.
I will continue my research as i would really like to solve that “inaccessibility” thing on the NC but not at the price of a dodgy fit compromising safety.

I have always found that ‘errors’ are dealt with quickly and effectivly on this site.
Thx, great tip…and at that price it’s worth a try. As Minto’s buckles did not fit (but did on the CX-3) and the CX-3 is not mentioned in the Aliexoress link…it makes sense.
