Second Hand Parts

Hi Guys,

Will there be lots of second hand parts stalls at the rally?  Im looking for a steering wheel and a few other bits and am wondering if its worth me saving my money for the rally or just scouring ebay?

Are the parts usually reasonable at these types of events or do people want the earth?

Many Thanks

a list of the traders attending will be appearing here shortly, plus there is an autojumble…

some of them are already mentioned here,

I’m hoping to pick up a rear parcel shelf cover for my 2.5. Two of the tonneau cover poppers are missing off mine.

Cheaper than buying a full cover - try this - Amazon,

Didn't realise they were still around, however.

Autolink, MX-5 Works and The MX-5 Restorer will all be at the Rally and all of them stock second hand parts. Give them a ring to see if they have the parts you require, to check prices and to ensure that they bring those parts with them.

There will be a number of traders at the Rally who supply new and second-hand parts. Details will be published shortly.

If there are any autojumbler club members there, hopefully some people will treat them better than how some of us were treated at the national rally. Some people were rude enough that I’m not going to bother again.

On that vein, can I suggest a meet-up on the Saturday at some other point that a rally site? - I’m not doing the Spring Rally, but the National is something to think about. I agree with what you said here.

My thanks to Gerryn for the tip off about the stud kit. It arrived today, but unfortunately was no use to me ,so the hunt for a parcel shelf cover continues. All the poppers on the tonneau cover are present and correct. I am missing two of the receptors (or whatever they’re called) on the carpet bit behind the seats.
