Charity shop down the road from me has the above for sale for £75. No interest for me but thought someone might be looking for one. No idea whether it is working.
If someone interested I would be happy to pass on details of charity shop…
Until now, I didn’t know there were two versions of the Gents and Ladies watches
I guess there is also a Roadster version.
The watch used the V657 movement, which was made for Seiko and Seiko’s other brands, Lorus and Pulsar. If the watch is not working, unfortunately what happens is that the battery leaks and wrecks it. A “new” Hattori V657 movement is about £30.
I guess on its own, its worth no more than any other late 90s Seiko quartz watch, ie. not a lot. I have a 1970s mechanical Seiko, Japan market version (so super funky shape, lurid green dial, date in Kanji) is worth, tops, £80. A 20 year old quartz watch, no box, has got to be worth less. £50 if mint. If its not working, £10 or donation.
