Hello, just got my 07 mx5 on Saturday and it’s due its 96 month service shortly, it has got a full mazda service history on a print out. Every car i have owned in the past had a service book.
I want to use my local garage for the next service and i was thinking of buying all the oils and parts from my mazda dealer. How do i get the new service logged onto the digital service record?
First of all do not tell your garage how to service your car as unless you have agreed that with them, they may not want to do it your way ie you buying parts and oil.
They will provide the oil and the filter as part of the deal and if anything goes wrong you claim on them. If something does go wrong how do you prove that they caused the fault or prove the parts you bought were not faulty.
IMHO either go to Mazda and use their consumables or use your local garage and use their consumables, Mazda do not blend oils or make oil filters.
Two ways to get the service put on the digital service record.
It is dead easy and free for your garage to get access to the Mazda DSR.
If they do not want to register with Mazda, then send the completed service invoice to Mazda UK and they will update the DSR for you.

You can register for Digital Service Record at https://portal.mazdaeur.com/io
1. Beneath the login is a link to Independent Operator – General Information
Go to the Registration tab, fill in the form and submit.
2. By return you will receive two emails from the system.
The first advising you of your temporary password.
The second supplying a link, for you to confirm your registration.
3. Please return to Portal Login page at https://portal.mazdaeur.com/io
NOTE: When you login for the first time the systems will request you to change the password.
The password must have a minimum password length of 8 characters.
It must contain at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter and one number.
You can use the following special characters: @.!#$%&’*+/=?^_`{|}~-()
4. To get authority to access DSR you will need to fax OR e-mail us a copy of your Company letterhead with your user ID. Our fax number is 01892 501211 and our e-mail address is ishelp@mclgroup.co.uk - We will then add the permissions to your account and contact you to confirm.

Alternatively get yourself a folder and first of all put the DSR service record printout in it. Then whenever any work is done on the car add all receipts and any other info. Personally I would rather see a full list of parts and work that had been done on a service than just garage name, date and mileage.
Sorry to ressurect such an old post but can someone point me in the right direction of who at Mazda to send an invoice to to get it on my DSR? I tried talking to them on live chat but poor lass couldnt help me lol
