Hey all.
Just taken Listerine to a body shop for a quick price-up on the browning arches and sills.
a “cosmetic” blowover (sand, fill, prime, spray) would come in at £360, which sounds entirely reasonable to me, but I am fully aware this is only a temporary slution and doesn’t tackle the real problem.
Does anyone know of a speicalist around the Ely area (CB6) who might be a good shout for a palleteable price on a more permanent fix? As in, sills and wings rebuild.

I had my off side sill done (it was pretty bad) for £245 a couple of months back at Ely Motor Services in Prickwillow. It was blended in but I do have a flat black paint, which made things cheaper.
I also had a reasonable quote from a body shop at the back of LG Car Sales on the Littleport bypass
I have just had my bad nearside sill done, it was in a bad state, like thin paper. It was welded, sprayed black, mine was already a grey colour, the otherside was sprayed to match, and I was charged £100, this was just off the A21, if any one needs details of this garage, email me on suesiw@hotmail.com. I am well pleased and it sailed through MOT.
I’d say to try Barr-Tech in Cambridge or Midway Garage in Witchford. I can’t comment on price but workmanship will be good.
