You know your rims bud…

We do have the centre caps also but will copy them with 3D printing as we don’t want to lose the originals.
We have more interesting rims buried in the bat cave that we cannot get to at the minute with building work going on .

Do they glow in the dark?

Love the calipers, did you paint them yourself?

Think that’s my favourite colour for a mk1, is it emerald green mica?

Same colour, Montego Blue M8

My first Mk1 loved it, miss it and often wonder where it is now.

Jesus Christ that car looks clean

Is that the original paint or had it been touched up?

Original, when I sold it in 2010

Im curious as to how the bigger wheels have affected the driving experience and handling?

They look great btw!

Tyres are one size up (215) and wheels are 17"

Handles well

I was asking Jacob about his NA with 16 inch wheels. Glad yours are working well for you though

It handles great, but i don’t have anything to compare it to. I’ve never driven on the 14” alloys. When I bought it, it had 17” alloys with 205/40 tyres which were old and perished. As were all the suspension bushes. The shocks were old and tired too. So I replaced everything. It’s much better now. The tyres are 195/45
