Sill repair work advice (North West/Wales)

Hi,

My beloved Trilogy is going to fail the MOT in March if I don’t get the sills replaced. She’s mechanically spot on so there’s no way I’m scrapping her.

Can anyone point me in the direction of an MX5 body work specialist in the North Wales, Cheshire or Manchester areas please?

I soke to one “excellent” welder who said “I don’t think they make replacement sills for MX5s” 

I believe both sides need doing and some internal work, I know it wont be cheap for a quality job but if anyone can give me an idea of costs to that would be awesome.

If the sills are having problems the chassis rails may need attention. The cost in repairs may outweigh the economic value of the car so it is your choice what you want to do with your money. My own sills were done by  MX5 doctor for £380 but that was a few years ago.

They are in West Sussex but near a train station so they will drive you back to the station.
