Hi, new member just joined. We have 2 MX-5’s, both the same model MK2.5 Nevada 2003 1.8i. Both need new sills fitting . I have bought the sills but am having trouble finding a garage that can weld them on. One car is already in a garage but he is taking his time & making a meal of it & he doesn’t want to do the other car. Any recommendations for a garage/welder in the LA1 Lancaster area would be very much appreciated please.

thanks for the reply, I was hoping to find someone a bit closer as CBS Auto is in Nelson, but if he is reliable & does a good job for a reasonable price, it might be worth the distance as it seems to be a bit of a one horse town round here for getting anything done.It will have to wait until I (hopefully) get mine back from the garage so we can both drive down & we have a car to get back home. I’m going to see the garage on Monday or Tuesday to see how he is getting on as it doesn’t sound like he has done very much & it has been there 2 weeks. He recons he can have it finished by the end of this coming week, we will have to see.
