When someone does wave back, it more than compensates for those that cannot be bothered.

It’s not always possible to wave back if you are caught by surprise at a MX5 appearing from nowhere, I always wave. I drive along looking for the first sight of an MX5 so that I can wave….But often too late to wave when one does come into view … and for the other driver it’s probably the same, Best regards from Ray in Essex
