I guess what appears to make it seem like hard work is there is no respite.
With the usual polishes and sealers, you apply, let it dry and buff off.
There’s no rush, meaning you can have a rest and take your time
With the wax, there is a rush to get it off, but applied in one hand and removed with the other, it’s not that difficult.
