Event Timing: Sunday 21st July 2024 Event Address: National Motor Museum, Beaulieu Gates open : 8.30am until 10.30am for Club display entry - show open until 4pm
Simply Japanese will be returning to Beaulieu on Sunday 21st July 2024, for an excellent day out that members enjoy. Set in the parkland of the National Motor Museum, the rally is open to all ages and models of Japanese cars and motorcycles and is always a highlight of the events calendar.
All participants have the opportunity to be chosen as the winner of the People’s Choice Award, selected by public vote. Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runners-up.
The Club will be hosting an Anniversary Display at the show, to add your car to the Club display,
Looking at the timings for entry to Simply Jap at Beaulieu, here is the plan for meeting up and driving down to Beaulieu;
Its a pretty tight schedule but it is critical that we arrive at Beaulieu on time, to get to our display area, before Beaulieu opens up Public Access, on safety grounds.
08:30 - Meet up at Rownhams Services M27 Westbound (What3Words = mass.film.bricks)
PLEASE NOTE: As we are displaying our vehicles, we may have to enter the grounds via a different entrance.I have emailed my Beaulieu contact and will post an update on this thread, once I receive a reply, so keep checking back here
Great news, please email Iain Fleming (MX5OC Events Coordinator) on: iain.fleming@mx5oc.co.uk to let him know you have registered and he will add you to the list he has published in this thread.
Hi Mal,
I will be arriving from the opposite direction, so am not planning to meet you at Totton?!
If you are aiming to arrive at Beaulieu around 9.20, my thoughts were to wait for you at the entrance (and I assume we are likely to be going in via the smaller entrance off the B3054?)
So if I hang around there at about 9.15 I should hopefully be able to drive in with the rest of you?
Does that make sense?!
JMK
I am not managing the list live onto the post I am travelling at present and it takes some deciphering as people have added themselves time and time again - as long as you have gone on the form and filled it in then you’ll be on there,
when you hit submit you will see a message to say thank you - and you are on the list.
Please stop filling it in repeatedly - if your name is in the post below , you do not need to add yourself again and again, thank you.
The final list will be published next Thursday night and if you are not on it then there is time to sort on Friday 12 before it is submitted.
All vehicles have now been logged and sent to the organisers. Passes will be emailed by us to the address given.
Their update as follows
We do ask that all individuals have purchased their tickets on an individual basis in advance via our website, to speed up the entry process on the day. This can be done on our website here until 2pm on the day when admission closes:Simply Japanese | Beaulieu, National Motor Museum
Note that we do have two entrances available, the normal Beaulieu attraction entrance off the B3056 but also an additional entrance off the B3054, which will be signed. Either entrance is suitable to use and both are open from 8.30am, with the additional entrance closing around 11am. Where possible, we do ask for car club arrivals to use the additional entrance off the B3054 as this gives more direct access to the club parking areas.
Please note, we do ask clubs to arrive by 10.30am and if members have not arrived by then club spaces will be allocated to general participant parking.
Hi guys
Out of courtesy please note that I’m unable to attend the jap Sunday at Beaulieu. We’ve just booked a last minute holiday to Menorca flying out tomorrow. Hope you all have a great day
