Hi David - thanks for another smashing day out. Watching MX-5’s take to the track at Snetterton, the biggest and best omelette I’ve ever eaten thanks to the Golden Egg Cafe, a pleasant browse round the exhibits at the museum and an enjoyable run on quiet roads avoiding the A11. Wonderful.

Weather was kind to us today. Glad we caught up with fellow MX-5 enthusiasts at Snetterton. John from Leeds, couple from Kent (hope the lady got to drive on the track and conquered any misgivings about Montreal hairpin), cars from Harleston & Diss (maybe see you at a Club night meeting) and last but not least the young man from Ipswich (hope the filming worked out ok and you reduce your height - I refer to lowering the car).
Broken Egg cafe did us proud and N&S Aviation Museum were very welcoming. I actually got to fly a Cessna. Took off flew to another airfield and landed, albeit across the runway and onto the grass. Did I not mention this was with a flight simulator.

Thanks David. Yet another brilliant day out with sweeping, country B-roads, a number of MX-5s on the track at Snetterton and a supremely interesting aviation museum at Flixton.
What a great day out and big thanks to David for a cracking summers worth of brilliant runs. Thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. Roll on 2026.
