Meeting point           : -         PEASE POTTAGE SERVICES – M23 [South of Gatwick - Junction 11 – A264 Horsham] <o:p></o:p>

Time                :-          0645hrs for 0700hrs departure to Goodwood Motor Race Circuit [GMRC]<o:p></o:p>

Pick Up points           :-          Lay-by, West Bound carriage - A27 @ Hammerpot, beween Worthing & Arundel. <o:p></o:p>

                                    [Drive by pick up only for anyone living along the coast]<o:p></o:p>

The Breakfast Club gatherings at GMRC have become very popular and we have to be at the Circuit early to park in the Paddock  – hence the early start. The Breakfast Club event is free to attend, but we need to pre-register our Group to let Goodwood have some idea of numbers  & an indication of who may want to buy breakfast, so they can gauge the likely catering demands.  There are sit down breakfasts & catering caravans for refreshments.  <o:p></o:p>

If you don’t want to get up this early start, then make your own way to GMRC later in the morning, park in the public parking areas & join us for Stage 2 & 3. <o:p></o:p>

Full route details nearer the time & given out on the day, which is split into 3 Stages:-<o:p></o:p>

Stage 1.          Early morning run from Pease Pottage Services to GMRC.<o:p></o:p>

Parking in the Paddock @ the Circuit & taking part in “Soft Top Sunday” event. <o:p></o:p>

Stage 2.          Depart GMRC @ 1145hrs.<o:p></o:p>

Drive to the st1:placeSouth Downs</st1:place> for a Picnic Lunch next to the Race Course.<o:p></o:p>

                        Or, if it’s wet [like last year!!], <o:p></o:p>

Adjourn to the Chichester Harvester Inn or maybe Pizza Hut for lunch.<o:p></o:p>

Stage 3.          Depart the Picnic location @ 1330hrs approx.<o:p></o:p>

Drive through the st1:placeSouth Downs</st1:place> to Stopham, Nr. Pulborough.<o:p></o:p>

Hope the job interview went well.Have found a premier logde near where we set off for goodwood it is £49.00 pounds for the room, only problem it says there is a night club nearby meaning noise and vandalisem to the cars will keep looking and keep you informed

Registered for this a couple of days ago, and live locally. I’m not a club member yet - have been meaning to join ever since I got my five a year ago but, as a student, rarely have any spare cash for such extravagences!

Perhaps I will come and find you guys!

Nice to hear from you, I know the meaning of being poor still going to interviews to find a job, not much fun. I can say that if you did join up you would enjoy the benefits of the club with discounts at various car repairers, plus club magazine, plus the fun of coming on our events.

We will see you at the Pease Pottage - Will probably head home after lunch as Andy will have just done three out of four 6day weeks (holiday cover) which involves early starts so he will probably want to sleep in the afternoon!  They also had new computer system go live last week and the problems are starting to fall out and stress levels are rising - then again I might come on my own …

Know what you mean, I will have been to Broooklands on Saturday 1st August so will be totally wornout, but fun weekend all the same. Thanks for letting me know and hope to see either both or maybe just you Sandra, it could be just me on my own on the Sunday as we do not have anyone to look after Sally Dog, not sure if we can bring her to Goodwood, so Martyn may well stay at home.
