Am looking for a soft top supplier in Kent that provides fitting service… Budget is up to about £350… obviously the cheaper the better!!
Ideally would like a mohair with heated rear screen!!! or maybe decent vinyl hood with heated rear screen but thinking of coloured RED or BLUE
Alternatively is there someone out there who needs a roof but on a tight budget who would be willing to help fitting a roof if I got supply only & they could have my old one!!
Mine has no leaks & is quality vinyl with heated glass rear screen, just looking a bit tired as about 6 years old now but no rips etc, figure if im going to replace it I may as well buy a decent hood that will last…
thinking of having a go at fitting myself but from what ive read seems a bit beyond my capabilities on my own!!
I used these people for my previous MX-5: www.carhood.com. They’re in Chessington, Surrey but have a mobile fitting service. They came out to me in Herts so Kent should be no problem. Good value, top quality, an exact replica of the OE hood; I was very impressed. I obviously have to say here that I have no connection with the company other than as a satisfied customer etc, but it’s true.
