A reluctant sale due to the owner (Lizzie) relocation away from West Sussex.
The car is for sale at a very realistic price due to the body work attention needed (rear sills & passenger door). There is a PDF document available which contains 30+ photos and a description of the car if you PM me with your email address and I will send it to you.
There is also a folder with Service and repair records which will go with the car, together with the matching body coloured hardtop.
Description of the car :
First registered in January 1998 & fitted with the 1840cc engine.
4 previous owners prior to 2008, when Lizzie purchased the car.
MOT to June 2023 with 98,500 miles.
Black with Mohair Soft Top fitted with glass hrw.
Included in the sale is a black hard top with hrw (now fitted on the car after the photos were taken);
Chrome boot rack; various chrome accessories; Sony stereo system; tonneau cover for the soft top; Skinny spare wheel; lined full car cover, purpose made bag for the hard top for summer storage.
The car drives well and everything works.
SORN for the Winter on 1st Nov 2022.
Bodywork i: Generally in fairly good order, but the rear section of the sills on both sides are rusting and will require welding repairs /new outer sills and making good etc. The nearside door hinge may also be faulty as the door catches on the front wing when it is opened. There is a small rust patch on one wing by the wheel arch.
