No worries. An EXCEL file is software produced by Microsoft that enables one to produce tables and do calculations of data in an easy to use format. Other software is available hat can do similar things but EXCEL is he industry standard.
A PDF file is "Portable Document Format and enables one to lock down documents when sending them to others to ensure they cannot be altered unless one has an access code. So, when I produce he Solent Area Newsletter, I covert it to PDF format and then email it to Lavenham Press, so that the format cannot be changed from how I want it presented.
