Hi Max et-al,

Just had a chance to get the route sorted for the next Sunday drive, which is attached below for you to print off as desired;

Just click on each image and select download and print off as desired :wink:

NB: I will have one or two spare copies with me on the day but it would help greatly if you could print a copy off for you own use, as my cartridge/ink plan does not give the facility to print too many copies. :grin:

The drive details are;

Start Point: 10:00 onwards. at Costa Coffee, Broadcut,Fareham. PO16 8SU.
Depart: 10:45 prompt
Arrival Time: 12:00 approx depending on traffic on the day

Hi Everyone,

Due to the lack of participation, we have decided to cancel tomorrows Sunday drive but will still be attending “The Milbury” for lunch, should anyone wish to join us.

A shame but understandable.
Good to have a spare route tucked away for a sunny day though :slight_smile:

Indeed it is😉 I shall keep that one in my back pocket for later😀

I’m at the Popham bike mega meet this am but may pop in on the way back👍

Hi Geoff,

It will be good to see you if you can make it👍

Best Regards

Sorry Mal, Elaine & I just knocked out 55 miles on the bikes this morning…recovery Guiness at Plough Itchen Abbas - too knackered to ride up the hill to Beauworth!

Crumbs, that is an incredible ride and well done to both of you for completing 55 miles. I’m not surprised you didn’t make it to Beauworth, as it’s another 8.5 miles. I think you had both done enough cycling for one day :+1::wink:

The two cars that got together yesterday had a lovely time at The Milbury. The weather was nice and sunny, so we sat in the garden opposite where our MX-5’s were parked and had a drink in the sunshine and Geoff Lowe joined us, as he had been to Popham Airfield for the “Motorcycle Mega Meet” and swung by The Milbury in his MX-5 afterwards :+1:

Geoff departed and the four present all ordered different meals from the Summer Menu and being sharing platters we could mix and match, as desired. The food was lovely , plentiful and high quality together with being a very different way of presenting food, as opposed to the normal “pub grub”, which is what The Milbury is trying to achieve.

Speaking to Clive (mine host) he said they were still trying their concept out, as they didnt want to be just another pub offering standard pub grub, as anyone can do that and the concept certainly gets a thumbs up from me👍 The desserts menu was also studied and choices made😋

Time flew, as we were at The Milbury for four hours, chatting and taking in the very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and pleasant to chat to and nothing was too much trouble.

Best Regards

Mal
