Hi Everyone,
As a reiminder, here are the final details for the Christmas Meal this coming Sunday 
Timings for the day;
On the day, we will rendevous at: Morrisons, Lakesmere Rd, Waterlooville PO8 9FB
Rendezvous Time: 10:45 Coffee and Toilet Facilities are available in Morrisons Store.
Departure Time: 11:20 PROMPT!!!
Arrival Time at The George Inn, Finchdean: 12:00 or just before.
To be seated by 12:15 in the Convservatory and starters will be served at 12:30

a) Parking on The George Inn field - The gate will be opened for our arrival at 12:00 noon, so we can drive in and Ben will mark with a cone in the area where he would like us to park
b) Mal will produce an A3 copy of the Spreadsheet, in addition to the A4 copy that will be emailed to the venue on the 22nd November, so the waiting staff can annotate each person’s entry with any extra’s they may have and check off the final balance payments for each individual.
At the end of the meal please go to the bar and pay for your meal(s) and staff will cross your entries off the A3 copy of the spreadheet. PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE TIPS WHEN PAYING FOR YOUR MEAL!
c) Members to buy drinks, Beer, Wine etc., as they go and pay by card, or Smartphone App, as desired.
NB: No drink orders to be added to the spreadheet. All drinks are to be paid on a “Pay as you go basis” to keep things simple for the staff. So, if you want drinks and/or a bottle of wine, please pay with your debit/credit card at the time.
d) TIPS - Mal will obtain a Pint Beer Jug from the bar which will be passed around everyone for them to put cash tips in - This worked well at The Bird in Hand last year and Ben is happy for us to do this at The George Inn also. - DONT FORGET TO BRING COINS AND NOTES FOR TIPS WITH YOU, AS ITS EASILY FORGOTTEN IN THIS CASHLESS SOCIETY WE NOW LIVE IN

Hi Everyone,
I have come back to you again on this thread, as I duly sent a glowing thank you letter to The George Inn, for Ben, Kiki and all their staff and had a reply form Ben thanking me kindly for the letter, which he will circulate to all involved in hosting our visit 
We have made a provisional booking to return to The George Inn, for our Christmas Meal on Sunday 7th December 2025, based on all your lovely comments we have received
We will also visit in the summer months, to park on the pubs field and partake in a nice Sunday Lunch in the garden if the weather allows, or If not, in their excellent conservatory. We will make a decision on that nearer the time.
In his reply, Ben asked if members, who attended the Christmas Meal, would be kind enough to leave a review on their platforms (Facebook & Instagram) the links for which, I have posted below to assist this process, as it really helps get their name out there and promote the Goerge Inn and its great food
