SOLENT AREA - Gosport Vehicle Rally, 31st August 2026

Hi Everyone,

We have had an invite from Jeremy Webb, Chairman of The Gosport Vehicle Rally (see letter copied below), to attend this prestigious event on 31st August 2026.

This has been a great event in past years, when we have attended as a club and it is our intention to take a group of MX-5’s along again next year. We know its early but please reply to this forum post to confirm your attendance, so we can update the venue on our numbers and secure a good pitch for our 5’s :sun_with_face: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: :+1:

As with previous years, we will rendevous at “Alver Valley Garden Centre in Gosport”, for coffee prior to leaving for the short transit to The Showground at Stokes Bay :+1:

Hi Everyone,

We are all set for this one, as I have head back from Penny, who was our original contact, when Ron Clarke arranged the first visit to this event.

Penny has reserved an MX5OC stand for us and wll send me the requisite form and flyer when bookings open for this event.

Penny has also said there is no limit to the size of our designated stand and we will be able to take the area gazebo, to shelter from the sunshine :sun_with_face: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

So, please reply to this forum post to confirm your attendance, in order that I can update Penny on our numbers :+1:
