We are looking forward to this years MX5OC National Rally, at Sywell Aerodrome, Northamptonshire and to this end we have booked an Area Gazebo in order that Solent Area members, both existing and new, can pop along and visit us to say hello.

Don’t forget that, as well as your Mirror Hanger, that was in the latest copy of STHT, you will also need to book an online ticket at no cost to MX5OC members and you will be good to go

I think for members it was free but not businesses??? I must have read it in STHT.

Make sure to visit the Club shop to see some of the new items, as well as a selection of other lifestyle stalls for some distraction!
Also take time to Visit the Sywell Air Museum, a fantastic look at the history of this important Airfield - The Museum is free to visit, but survives on your donations, please do make sure to give a little something if you can.
We’ve some great on event catering from Farmhouse grill and Hog roast to some sublime toasties to enjoy!
Please note: While there might be some activity on the airfield, and some fantastic Tiger Moths to see, a technical issue has meant we are unable to access a Helicopter for sightseeing tours tomorrow, the live status of the runway also means that dogs are unable to visit the Rally, unless registered assistance dogs.
We hope that you can come along, enjoy the day, meet up with fellow enthusiasts and get to know more about your car while also enjoy a day out in it. (don’t worry if you cant make it in your MX-5, there is non MX-5 parking!)

Great day at the Sywell National Rally, most of the Solent Display members stayed either at the onsite ‘Aviator Hotel’ or nearby, day started misty but improved as the day went on, Patricia and I had very nice long weekend away at Sywell Aerodrome, staying at the onsite at the Aviator Hotel, great weekend with plenty to see, great live band, plenty of stalls of all kinds, and most of all wonderful company.
