You will note this box now available next to replies on a thread you have created, it offers the option to select a particular post as the solution to a question or query. Forum staff also have the ability to apply the solution tag to a thread.
This functionality can help future searchers of the same question to find the accepted answer more quickly, it can also be useful to signify that you are not looking for more responses on a topic too.
The tagged solution will then be shown next to the question in the first post of the thread.
