My MK1 will be in my garage for a month awaiting due date for repair  is it worth going down the sorn route

Is your Road Tax Due/Up?, If not, for one month I would not think its worthwhile.

Retax it on the 1st of the next month +1.

Car off the road for a month.

£20 ish to you.
