I have a 2021 Sportech in Soul Red Crystal Metallic. It sustained a minor scrape some months ago and went back to the local Mazda dealer, who attempted to repair and respray the damaged area along the front lip of the bonnet. They ended up making a worse job than the original minor damage and despite having gone back to them, it’s still not right. The paint looks flat and is a slightly different colour.
My local bodyshop has been trying to match the paint, but so far have had no success.
Does anyone know of a bodyshop in the West or South Yorkshire area that has successfully resprayed a Soul Red panel, please?

I’ve heard they are very good, not used them but have a good name in the MX-5 world.
From what I’ve read the soul red colour is a pig to match properly.

Out of interest, what sort of ballpark figure did it come in at ? I’ve got a copper red NC 3.5 and would like the rear deck spraying where the paint has pitted.
Thanks Masie. I’m assuming that was just the nose cone rather than the bonnet as well but it’s still a pretty good price. I may get mine done as well and ask them if they can buff up the lights while the nose is off.
