Thanks to Es and Rose for a good run today, good choice of route and excellent clear and concise directions, (even though John and Sandra tried their very best to throw us off the scent! lol).

Good to see some new faces on the run and good to chat with Keith and Christ at the stop in Llandovery too, shame we couldn’t make the lunch this time. Looking forward to the next run.

Thanks again, Mike and Angela, ( MkI Merlot with the green hard top).

Big thanks to Es and Rose for a well organised, very good run today.

14 MX5’s looked great running through all that good scenery.
Even the main roads didnt seem like main roads amongst all that rural.
Top down almost all the way, never mind about one little shower, eh!
Good stop in West End Cafe, Llandovery where the staff seemed well equipped to cope with us all invading them again.
The Aberavon Hotel was a good place to lunch after 98 very good miles and fed us all well.

Special thanks to Es and Rose for asking the RNLI lifeboat and Seaking Helicopter to do a training session right in front of the hotel windows.
And if that wasnt enough, Es also organised the huge iron ore carrier BERGE ARCTIC to arrive from Sweden with 174000t of iron ore at exactly the time we were in the aberavon Hotel.

Es, i am so impressed !

regards
Keith

Glad you all had a good time. Sorry we couldn’t be with you. We too had a good day in Brooklands. Plenty to see to fill up the day and a very good turnout. Unfortunately we will miss next month’s run and meeting as we will be on holiday but hope to see you all again very soon after. Philip an Glenis
