I got some for my Harvard off the ebay site.
They are copies but they look just as good. Have a look.
Hi,
I recently picked up a pair of Icon badges from this seller on eBay - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Allaggro-Old-Car-Accessories?_rdc=1
They are absolutely identical to the originals. It might be worth contacting him to see if he can help you out.
Cheers,
Trev.
Any images of the originals and copies? I’ve purchased a set of Berkeley badges from the same seller however the colour looks very different on my display to the originals. I’ll have to wait and see!

Hi Will,
I bought some of these for my Berkeley, as the colours seem to have seperated out on the originals (blue/green). I’ve not fitted the repacements yet as they are a different shade, and more solid colour of green than the originals. I think there was some disclaimer I read about it being a difficult colour to match. I think I probably will fit them, but they’re not as good as I’d hoped.
Let me know how you get on. Ray.
Would you mind uploading an image of the originals next to the copies you purchased? It does say in the advert that he ouldn’t get the colour match perfect however I’m not fused unless it’s blindingly obvious. Apparantly the man selling them hasn’t seen a genuine Berkeley badge in the flesh, hence why he hasn’t been able to colour match. I might lend him my original badge so he can use it as a reference.
Might be worth having a look at this website as a reference,

Hope that helps…
Hi,
Too dark outside to try taking a photo of originals, but from what I recall the image in your message looks about right (at least on my screen it does). I have taken a photo of the replacement ones that I purchased but haven’t fitted yet. Again, on my screen it looks quite representative of the colour, being a lot greener than the bluey green of the originals. The originals match the sparkle green of the car, which does look bluey in some lights. The size and font look quite close.

They look more BRG than Sparkle Green on my monitor. Hopefully my set will arrive tomorrow or the day after. I’ll post up pictures before and after. Hopefully the person making the replicas will accept my offer of sending them an original so they can match the colour better. I’ve removed the centre from the surround using sewing thread in a saw motion.
You’re about right with the BRG colour. I wondered how I’d get the old centres out without damaging the surrounds - now I know .
Look forward to seeing how you get on. Ray.
Worked a treat, used the same method to remove the badge from the wing itself. Double up the thread and start in one of the corners. Both badges were undamaged when removing using this method.
Above is my right wing. As you can see it’s seen better days.
Looking at the replicas the text is well matched in terms of font and size. However the originals look slightly different as the ‘Berkeley’ text looks slightly embossed over the Sparkle Green where as the replicas looks flat.
The originals are obviously painted, and something happens to the paint as it seems to seperate out blue/green. Mine have gone just the same as yours. The replacements are simply spongy plastic with the lettering in, rather than embossed onto the surface. I would think they’ll look better on than they do off, particularly if he can get the colour nearer. The supplier does all sorts in the same way. I emailed him a photo of a wheel centre at the time, but he didn’t get back with a price. Ray.
Mine finally arrived today, see the comparison shots below:
As you can see the badges are more British Racing Green than sparkle green, bare in mind though our Berkeley badges have weathered 13 years! The original centres are printed a what looks and feels like thin aluminium with the Berkeley text being embossed over the paint. The replicas are simply printed. It’s soaking wet outside so I can’t get any with the new badges on the car but I’ll definitely be using the replicas!
They actually look quite smart. Was it necessary to remove the surround from the car to fit the decal? Was the decal an exact fit?
You could probably get the centres out while keeping the surrounds on the car, although I haven’t attempted it. The decal isn’t an exact fit, if you look closely at the comparison shots you can see they’re v.v.slightly smaller.
Hi just wondering if you could give me the name of this seller or the description for it on ebay as this link doesnt want to seem to work for me.
The web page is this http://www.classiccapsule.com/
But, I don’t think they do them any more.
Good luck let me know.
