Hi there new to MX-5 ownership , brought a green na mk1 1997 my reg is r8181cny
New learning wise with mx5s and would like to know why it says on my chassis sticker in the door special edition? Iv looked at the editions online and as far as i can tell mine doesn’t match and on visuals is a basic 1.8L black interior , manual windows , manual in racing green . hopefully someone can answer my weird thought
Ps if your the previous owner to me hoping youll be on here somewhere ( enugh stickers in the window) would like you to know your cars going back on the road as its had a bump up the rear and i brought it cat n salvage ( buy alot for work and got temped)
Carcheck.co.uk shows the reg to be an MX-5 Classic, however the autocataloguarchive show the Classic to have only been available in black, in the UK. I am sure someone will be a long presently to clear the mystery up.

The car itself to me i believe is just normal it just confused me after a friend pointed it out and neither of us could work it out
