I’ve had my NA MX5 for some 15 years now & although it’s still fab to drive I’ve a fancy for a newer ND MX5, although it’ll be hard letting the MK1 go!
I think it’ll have to be the 2.0 version & soft top. The Sport Recaro, in Soul Red, looks nice with a few extra bits on it. I was wondering are the Recaro’s actually any different to the standard seat? I’ve tried one with standard seats & thought they were OK.

The Recaro seats are much much better than the standard seats. It is like black against white.
Yes, the Recaro seats are quite different and, as an owner of a Soul Red Sport Recaro, excellent IMHO.
Be prepared for how easily Soul Red chips and scratches - it looks fantastic but it’s a bit fragile.
I used to own a MK3.5 Sport tech with leather seats, Because I suffer from sciatica back pain I struggle on long drives. Since I’ve bought launch edition with Recaro seat’s I no longer have trouble with my back on long drive. Think they have better back support on seat’s
