Spring Day at Brooklands - 17th May 2026

We’re excited to return to Brooklands Museum on Sunday 17 May for the first of the Club’s main events of the year.

Set at the birthplace of British motorsport, there’s plenty to see and do across the museum alongside our own activities — including the chance to take on the historic Test Hill for a limited number of participants during the morning and early afternoon. S

paces are limited, so don’t miss out on what promises to be a standout spring event.

Book your tickets now via the Club website: https://mx5oc.co.uk/product-category/tickets/

Show and Shine entries will open closer to the event, please see Soft Top Hardtop and watch this space for more details.

I will be going but not up the Test Hill. I have been up in in my 1924 Alvis and 1914 Vauxhall and if going quickly the turn at the top is sharp. I expect there will be speed reducer somewhere.

Thanks Ian,

Test hill is fully managed by the Brooklands team - who do an excellent job of ushering the cars to the hill, briefing the drivers and managing them on and off the track.
We had around 100 successful runs on Test hill last time without any trouble. I don’t recall anyone airborne at the top, not sure the MX-5 could manage that! I’m fairly certain that lifting off just prior to the top will more than help to control an MX-5 as the summit is crested.

It was enjoyed by many, and we had a long waiting list of people who were not able to give it a go and hence why people wanted to have a return.
