Today’s a wet bank holiday rest day, just right for taking it easy, posting a few pics on here and planning to see more of the mountains and glens  in the coming week  - can’t wait Big Smile

wow, wow and wow… we went up to Scotland for a week touring in the MX-5 two years ago, and reading all the great comments on here and looking at all the fab photos it looks like the secret is out now. Scotland is simply one of the very best places to drive an MX-5, (especially if the weather is nice)… My weekend in Pitlochry was no where near long enough, I will be back very soon…

One to consider is the run across to Applecross, we did it last year and it was fantastic, but petrol stations are a bit hard to find?

We wanted to stay longer after the rally to enjoy the quite roads and glens but theres always September.

Just checked that one out, but a bit far from our base (St Fillans) for this trip (noted for another time though).

Hoping there’s some decent weather around this week, as amongst other routes we want to cover the ‘Grampian Mountain Drive’ through Aviemore produced for the rally, and a run through Glen Coe and on to Fort Augustus and Loch Ness (each a day long drive for us with a few stop offs).

There’s also quite a few more routes a bit more local to where we’re staying that we’d like to do.

It’s our first time this far North, and first time to Scotland in a 5, and we’re totally sold…we’ll be back!

did Applecross, loved that…

Great ‘pics’…feels like i’m on holiday with you.Thumbs up  Hope the weather stays nice for the ‘three’ of you.

Fantastic pictures, so glad you’re enjoying our brilliant roads.
