I’m on my third ND ( don’t ask) . It is a hugely improved car in every way from the early ones but I have one gripe. Unlike the previous ones, the soft top creaks and rattles when I go over bumps. It sounds to me as if it is a bit loose. I don’t want to take it back to the dealer for something so minor, does anyone know if the tightness can be adjusted ? ( yes I know the best answer is to drive it roof down but that’s not always possible) . It’s a 2020 sport tech and is utterly brilliant in every other respect
The answer is get the dealer to look at it.
Hi Paul, I have exactly the same trouble on mine (2020 Sport Tech), mainly where the roof abuts the front windscreen pillar. I will be taking in back to the dealer in the next few weeks.
Just picked up #3 today myself… no noticeable rattles or squeaks from the hood though.
One thing I noticed was the sun visors can squeak against the plastic of the windscreen surround. So flip them down a bit and see if that helps.
Try a bit of Gummi Pflege or silicone oil on the rubber seals.
