Hello all,

Our friends at BroadspeedMx5 have invited us to the Stafford Castle Classic Car show on Sunday 5th August. The organisers have also offered to provide a dedicated space for our 5’s if enough people are interested.

 

Event Details:

Stafford Castle,

Newport Road,

Stafford.

ST16 1DJ

 

Time: 11am – 5pm

£3 per car (payable on the day)

 

Trophies will be awarded to the best car in class, so get cleaning!

Would love to go but.we are dropping the old girl off at my sisters garage on that day so she can get a new grille fitted… Been hit by something and it’s cracked both the grille and surround. Humbug…

I’ll be going but only as a visitor as only have a couple of hrs spare. Will be nice to see some 5’s on show though.

Well that made for a good day out. Though I only managed to meet one 5 owner with his car ( nice clean green nb) it was good to see a good turnout of all makes at a venue that doesn’t rip you off with daft entrance fees makes a nice change.

Seven cars on display.

Late in the day the judges came round and picked a shiny Red un with it’s bonnet open for the ‘Best in Class’ 1980 - 2000 year trophy.
