Exactly what i use. I would also add that if Mark is going to use elbow grease, then DON’T use circular motions. Finish with Auto Glym resin polish or similar.
By way of alternative I’d suggest maybe try Meguairs Ultimate Compound? Genuinely one of the best “over the counter” product I’ve used in years. Removed very old tar spots, great for hairline scratches and definitely helped to ease the appearance of older marks/stains natural wear and tear from sunlight. As with other advice, avoid circular motion and buff back afterwards then seal with a decent wax.. Tbf my Neighbour used to work for a large automotive paint company and used to gift me the Farecia compound here and there so totally get how good it is.. and yes fine choice too on the Copper Red..!!
Brilliant, thanks all. Ill give it ago after the alloys are repaired.
I put a coat of fusso dark on Moxie this morning after trying to remove the spots. I’ll order the first suggestion as i already have the Ultimate compound that I’ve used over the many years.
Just to follow up on the stains. With some elbow grease, the Farecla tip + a little bit of Meguiars and some Autoglym Soft polish, I have managed to remove most of the stains.
There are still some in the groves but not as much as there previously was.
