Since when do insurance companies ask about hobbies?
They don’t (well, not my knowledge!) , but it just came up in conversation.
I still don’t understand how your hobby had any bearing on the insurance application, unless of course it’s to do with the use of the car.
I do use the car in videos from time-to-time, but I’ve never had this problem before and I’ve been doing YouTube for four years now.
In other words, that company thinks you are a motoring journalist! This often adds a zero to the insurance premium.
Maybe, but if that’s the case, that’s a bit narrow minded as they were fully aware of the day job and I made it clear that my YouTube channel was not a money-making business. Oh well, doesn’t really matter now as Green Light sorted me out
