Streetwize - Any good

Been looking for a reasonable priced trolley jack and found a chap local to me selling one by Streetwize. I’ve never heard of this brand and wondered if anyone had experience of them?

For the price of the jacks, you’d be better off going to Halfords and pickup a low profile jack for £55

Plus a further 7% off if you’re also a Club member.

I would but he’s selling his for a tenner . It’s not a low profile (135mm) but it’s only a year old and figure if I get the car up on emergency jack I can get the trolley under the front onto the subframe mounting point.

Ah, if it’s a tenner, then it’s a no brainer. I’d go for it myself tbh. Nothing to lose except £10.

If it’s the Streetwize trolley jacks you can find online then I’d go with it too. They all look of similar quality (decent) for the price. The first jack that I bought was from Aldi, that’s still in use today, after must be 15 years or so.

I have a StreetWize “automatic trickle charger”…..seems to do the job well, I’ve had it for several years now.

Also a StreetWize air compressor- again very satisfactory.

Just collected the trolley jack from a friendly elderly gentleman. Poor sole seemed a bit lonely and wanted to know all about my MX-5 when I told him what I needed it for. I was happy to chat with him for a while. Of course talking about the MX-5 to someone who displayed interest was a bonus🤣

That was probably worth more to him than the tenner.

Point him towards my local, The White Horse, Sid will talk to him for hours if he’s interested in trains… or even if he’s not.
