Blubber you seem keen to react to the negative side of contributions here rather than acknowledging any advice given.
Look up impact driver versus breaker bar on google to reaffirm my guidance on this thread.
Your suspension will require a high spec impact wrench so again I have offered a tried and tested non air alternative and Drum has suggested that a large capacity compressor and high end air tool will be required. Better off buying a second hand Makita 6905 off ebay and selling it for the same money when you are bored with it. I paid around £40 for mine but they are selling for a little more than that now.
As regards bushes I have no experience of them being so worn as to fall out. Clearly those would fail an MOT and need replacing. You do of course have the option to buy a used wishbone with good bushes. The secondhand wishbones I have handled off the MK1 all have good bushes and no way to push out with your finger.
Have you been advised of a better way of removing bushes than the threaded bar or blow torch methods?

We are enthusiasts as as such we should support each other with enthusiasm; not sneer. I don’t think I ever have and if I do or have I would expect and deserve to be pulled up pretty sharply.
Putting that to one side I am going to gently rock the bolts with my existing breaker bar and see if I get any give - trying a 2deg turn to tighten - if not I will think again on the different methods. I don’t really want to apply heat as Drum does point out there are things that can go on fire close by. I suppose in the final analysis the bolts will either shear or they will not.
I am regularly spraying them with release spray at the moment.
My bushes are in very poor condition and I have been around running classic cars (30 years) generally long enough to know what bad looks like. My car received a clean bill of health from a reputable independent MOT tester but I have been right round the suspension and they are badly cracking, dry, loose and as I say one (drivers side rear upright) actually fell out when I was replacing the rear dampers although as I knew I would be looking at a full rebuild of the suspension about now I let it go at the time and have not been driving it hard.
I see you have a 97 UK car and a 91 Eunos. The NA is getting to the age where bushes may begin failing, particularly if it is a car that has been neglected for years and years as mine was and probably was ragged about a bit too. I bought it knowing this and knowing I would need to spend a lot on it. It is a light car so bushes are less likely to fail than (say) my old Alfa 75.
I think all need to be very careful about being so forceful that a car now approaching 30 years old (or 22 in the case of mine) will never need some new bushes. For the price of one as opposed to buying the full set, then if inclined one may as well do them all. I would not wear a 22/30 year condom and expect it to perform as intended and that goes for anything containing a natural product such as rubber.

Hi Blubber
I accept your point but help and advice in whatever guise is still help and advice. I would personally rather have rude help than friendly hinder.
We get all sorts on this forum and we all have bad days. I’ve had a bad couple of weeks or rather my shares ISA has:-(
The pity of these bushes is the prohibitive cost. LFFSam on here was looking for a alternative to the IL Motorsports set at around £320 and the Mazda set from MX5Parts at £450+. These do seem to be the only options. The poly bushes must be so tempting.
I would urge you to buy or borrow an impact driver rather than using a breaker bar. If you are anywhere near South Devon, you are more than welcome to use one of mine.
