Why has no-one mentioned Sutton Hoo?
We were very close yesterday as in Woodbridge. After a pub visit for food and a sit down we aborted a visit to Sutton Hoo. It’s National Trust and we are members, trouble was only the car park was open yesterday, I’m guessing there’s more to see when the property is fully open. We needed more time too really, we’ll be back of course to cover more, now in Bury St Edmonds planning our day👍
good question. We used to walk across the site 40 plus years ago probably and was always underwhelmed by a few humps in the ground. Have visited the centre once since it opened, and again I was underwhelmed, but i did enjoy the film.!
