Suggested routes Coventry to Fishguard

Gday,

Having to travel coventry to Fishguard and back.

Decided as travelling solo, taking the ND and have the luxury of no time constraints either way so for a change, looking to enjoy the journey rather than racing the clock.

Wondered if anyone had suggestion of any good routes ( excluding motorways)?
Prefer to avoid long dual carriageways if possible.
And do a different route on return journey via north/mid wales.
Any help, advice, aduse or ridicule welcome

Ozzie

Try a route planner and put in the following way points. (settings to avoid motorways)
Departure Point
Great Malvern
Hereford
Sennybridge
Cardigan
Address in Fishguard

Have a play with creating routes with MyRoute App, We use it for all our club drives and holidays etc. Create a free account, build a new route with start and end points specified then experiment placing waypoints where you fancy and reorder them by dragging into the correct sequence.
Here are a couple of examples I quickly knocked together and links to MyrouteApp for these routes that you can open (after you create a free account, once opened select “Use Route” and you can then edit it for yourself and play).

Click here for MyRouteApp route for:
Coventry to Fishguard approx 4h 5 mins travel time (give or take)

and Click here for MyRouteApp route for:
Fishguard to Coventry approx 5h 22 mins travel time

This example return route takes you through the Elan Valley, great scenery and roads, and across Clee Hills for more great views.
