A visit to The D-Day Story exhibition at Clarence Esplanade, Southsea PO5 3NT.
Entrance costs are Adults £10.00, Seniors £8.00 . There is a car park next to the exhibition which is free for first 2 hours and then £5.00 for next 4 hours.Web the ddaystory.com. The story is told in three parts, Preparation, D-Day and the battle for Normandy, legacy and the Overlord Embroidary.
It would be proposed to meet from 9.15am at Ashington Services RH20 3AT for departure at around 10.00am for the hours (40 miles) drive to Southsea.
