Swapping over mk1 two part seats with euno single part seats

  1. My model of MX-5 is: __ Mk1 1.8 '96

I’d like to swap out some worn two-part mk1 seats for some Eunos single-part seats.

The two-part seats have a rail which the seat belt retaining socket slides over and this is attached to the chair base.

Can I retrofit the older seats?
Can I mount a longer seat belt socket where the current rail is anchored?
