Experimenting with tags, I went back to this post and used the Edit Tags option to tag it with the word “Chargecooler”.
Some hours later, checking the list of all tags, the term Chargecooler doesn’t appear.
its on the list I can edit on admin panel, maybe as there is only one occurence of it then it won’t show… not sure how they really work, but keep practicing… [:D]
Well, I thought about that, but I assumed that couldn’t be right.
There’s the “cloud” of popular tags, but then there’s the list of all tags. It doesn’t claim to be a list of “some of the less popular tags, but not the real Johnny-no-mates ones”. If it’s a list of all tags, it ought to contain all the tags. If a subject is only tagged once and it never appeared on the only list most users can see, how would anyone ever find it?
LOL! Well, I just went back to one of my threads and temporarily tagged each of my messages with “Cake”. Five entries, and it’s stright into the top 20 with a bullet. I think I just invented a new game. Sorry about the storm of copycat pranksters which will probably now descend.
I tried it with “Mr Blobby” when talking about the smilies [:D] it appeared in the cloud in the section, but not on the main page.

I don’t mean to cause offense, but it is really quite obvious why “cake” worked - anybody who has seen Shrek knows that “everybody loves cake”…
