Thank you - Alan at Bulphan Service Station!

Someone broke the drivers window on my sons Mk2.5 MX5 earlier in the week and just I helped him fit the window he bought off eBay. All was good until the glass wasn’t going down far enough to line up with the mounting bolts. I was certain it was something simple and did a search on here for a specialist to speak with and Alan took the call. Some good humour and he quickly explained what I needed to do. What a true gentleman. Thank you.

For those that have to change the window, its a pretty simple job. Getting the broken glass out of the door takes longer than the repair and make sure you slam the door a couple of times to loosen up all the bits of broken glass.
When the glass shatters, two of the stops fall into the door and those stops need to be loosened to let the new window pass and then adjusted to stop the window going too far back-up. That is what Alan helped with.
